Fanatics brutally behead five men accused of spying and stick their heads on spikes in latest sick murder video
The terror group accused the men of working for the 'crusaders' after arresting them in Al-Bukamal in Syria
ISIS fanatics have beheaded five ‘spies’ before sticking their heads on spikes in their latest sick video.
The horrifying footage shows the prisoners – wearing the terror group’s trademark orange jumpsuits – standing in front of masked men.
The black-clad executioners, each brandishing a hunting knife, then read out a chilling warning aimed at those who would oppose them.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), one of the men warns the group’s enemies that “our bayonets are hungry for your blood”.
The prisoners, who are accused of feeding information to rival rebel groups, are then forced to the ground.
The sinister masked executioners then decapitate each of them before forcing their severed heads onto metal spikes in front of the camera.
SOHR have named the men as Asim Hammam al-Debs, Harith Ahmad Jalid, Muhannad Ahmad al-Mshawwah, Abdul Rahman Ahmad al-Ashaab and Mohannad Obaid Al-Hussein.
The video also claims to show them confessing to spying for the new US-backed New Syrian Army (NSA) and "crusader forces".
The NSA has been battling ISIS in the area of south-eastern Syria where the footage is believed to have been filmed.
The SOHR says the men were arrested in Al-Bukamal, close to the border with Iraq, in Deir Ezzor province.
US-trained rebels have been closing in on the strategic town with the help of Western airstrikes.
The NSA launched an operation on Tuesday to seize the area from the terror group – cutting their supply lines between Iraq and Syria.
But the rebels were beaten back from the outskirts of the town by an ISIS counter-attack.
says ISIS fighters encircled the rebels and ambushed them – inflicting heavy casualties and capturing their weapons.
A spokesman of the New Syria Army, Muzahem al Saloum, told the news agency: “We have withdrawn to the outlying desert and the first stage of the campaign has ended.”
But he added that the offensive had still succeeded in driving the militants out of the surrounding countryside.
ISIS has been growing increasingly desperate in recent months as the group loses ground on all fronts, resorting to ever more grisly scare tactics.
Just last week the fanatics were finally forced out of Fallujah by the Iraqi army.
The city was considered to be a stronghold of the militants, and its loss is a major blow for the group.
