Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, signed a lucrative deal with Spotify to host and produce podcasts for .

The money-spinner is rumoured to be worth a cool £30 million.

For this episode, the couple enlisted the help of A-lister friends including Elton John and James Corden as they discussed what had kept them motivated during 2020.

The Duchess quotes Dr Martin Luther King as she says: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that," and the pair sign off with the phrase: "love always wins".

But the love-in has divided opinion with some branding the pod "dull and preachy," but others insisting it was "heartwarming".

One social user wrote: "Ok First of all… Master Archie’s perfect accent!

"Secondly… Prince Harry’s infectious laughter!

"That man is SO happy! Last but not least… Meghan’s voice was MADE for podcasts. So worth the wait!"

But another, more cynical tweeter said: "Someone please pass the sick bucket..."

And another, equally unimpressed social media user wrote: "2020 has been difficult.

"Not sure a podcast featuring the difficulties of the rich and famous is what we need from Harry and Meghan."

However, some said it was a nice treat for royal fans at the end of a tricky year.

One person commented: "Way I see it, if someone has a positive message & the ability to send it out to a massive audience, why would anyone hate that?"

Another added: "This was such a good podcast, even if you're not a Meghan and Harry fan it's still a fun listen to get good insight on today's world issues."

However, it was clear that fans and haters alike were all united in one thing - that little Archie stole the show.

The little boy's podcast appearance comes after he featured on the family Christmas card along with their two dogs.

The sweet end to the podcast came after the couple discussed the lessons they had learnt during the difficult year for their holiday special episode.

But Archie's appearance on the podcast sparked debate online - with fans quick to discuss what accent the little boy has.

The podcast ends with the couple broadcasting the gospel song This Little Light of Mine which was played at the end of their wedding.

Meghan added: "This Little Light of Mine played at the very end of our wedding... while we were walking down the steps of the church."

Quoting Martin Luther King she went on to say: "It was the music that we wanted playing when we started our lives together. Because as we all know, 'darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that...'"

Harry added: "The message of this song is one we hold so dearly. It's about using the power we each have within us to make this world a better place."

It comes after the Sun revealed the couple lodged documents to prevent others cashing in on the name.
