‘Possessed’ soldier mannequin ‘has hands chopped off after ‘attacks on cadets’
ACCORDING to reports the dummy was often spotted moving on its own and was said to have been taken over by the evil spirit of a former commander
A SOLDIER dummy has had its fake hands cut off by terrified cadets who say the mannequin is possessed.
The military school students reckon the model keeps waking up in the night and attacking them with a gun.
They say they have been forced to take action after one terrified student reportedly shot at it.
The cadets claim the dummy is possessed by an evil spirit which has left then with no option but to keep it in a glass case.
The mannequin has even been heard walking through the corridors of the unnamed institution in the Bolivian capital of La Paz.
It appears as if the mannequin – wearing a red hat and jacket - is part of a historical display showing former uniforms of soldiers.
reports one of the cadets, Moises Borja, said: "We had to make the decision to cut off its hands so it wouldn’t attack us anymore and we then put it in a glass case so it wouldn’t be able to move either."
Some cadets even claimed the mannequin has been taken over by the ghost of one of their former commanders.
Student Moises added: "Some cadets in the north wing claim they can hear sounds of people walking [down the corridors]."

Classmate Edilberto Parra said it was all because the school has been overrun by evil spirits.
He even reckons the photos talk to the military school students if they dare to walk alone.
He told local press: "If you walk alone down a corridor, next to all the photos of the presidents and war hero statues, they start to ask you "Why are you here?" and "Why are you walking like that?"
The claims are not said to have not been investigated but the director of the institution, not named in local reports, has said it was all just superstition.
A paranormal investigator claims that the “ghost” he caught on camera is a 12th-century monk called Father Daniel, who allegedly screamed as he drifted through the cathedral.
The footage shows a few suspicious sightings, which appear as dark shadows making their way past the camera.
Ghost-hunter Mark Vernon, 50, said: “I was investigating it for 40 minutes – I caught a ghost, a shadow man, walking past my camera in broad daylight.
“If you listen carefully when it appears, I do believe he says ‘I’m here’.”
