ISIS makes specific threat to San Franciso’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge in chilling video
Footage from terror group urges more attacks inspired by atrocity in Orlando
A CHILLING new video from terror group IS makes specific threats against San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The film, released by the jihadis from Mosul, Iraq, featured shaky handheld camera shots of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge taken from a phone along the bridge's pedestrian walkway in San Francisco.
The camera panned up to one of the supports of the suspension bridge before focusing on the cars driving past in the US city.
Another clip showed the 555 California Street tower, in the financial district, and the Las Vegas Strip at night – in footage believed to have been shot from the pedestrian bridge at Caesar’s Palace.
The video also included footage of American Muslim leaders making statements after the Orlando shooting and pictures of the killer Omar Mateen.
Mateen gunned down 49 clubbers at Pulse nightclub on June 12 after pledging allegiance to IS.
President Obama was shown making statements in the Oval Office and in the White House briefing room in the IS video - with blood superimposed on the screen.
An image of Obama and French President Francois Hollande was also featured in the footage, with flames rising up around the pair.
The video, accompanied by an English voiceover - by a man with the nome-de-guerre Abu Ismail al-Amriki, or “The American” - encouraged more attacks in San Francisco like the one in Orlando.
FBI officials are said to be considering charges against Mateen’s wife Noor Salman following the Orlando atrocity.
She is said to have gone with him to scout potential targets but denies all knowledge of his specific plans.
