COPS have released shocking footage of the moment a man tried to rape an innocent woman walking down the street yesterday.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) released the CCTV of the attack – which happened as the 34-year-old victim was walking along 16th street in the Winsor Terrace area of Brooklyn, New York – in a bid to find the would-be rapist.
The graphic footage, captured on CCTV from a property nearby, shows the woman walking along a street at around 3.50am when the thug sneaks up behind her, grabbing her and then lifting her dress and pulling at her underwear.

The attacker then knocks her to the ground and strikes her multiple times while attempting to sexually assault her.
He repeatedly kicks her until he becomes frustrated and eventually flees the scene on 16th Street.
Police describe the suspect as having curly black hair, being approximately 20 to 30 years old and about 5 feet 11 inches tall.
According to cops the victim refused medical attention.
