According to , the tot was found unresponsive in a Cumberland County pool on Monday evening.
Tragically the little boy was said to be “just shy” of his third birthday.
Local reports claim that Landon was found in the pool during a family gathering at his uncle Jason Adam’s house in Carriage Crossing Drive in the Grey’s Creek area and placed on life support after being taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
According to a family post on Facebook, the incident Monday occurred during a celebration, exactly one year after Mr Adams’ 11-month-old daughter fell into the same pool.
Cops say they will be “taking a closer look” at the incident because the two tragedies occurred at the same pool and involved the same family.
Last year Katelyn's parents posted an emotional message thanking friends and family for their support while their daughter was in intensive care.
