The Wacky Road Trip Map offers up towns, villages and hamlets in England including Loose Bottom and Crapstone.

In Scotland, travellers could pass through a number of places with funny and strange names like Brawl, Brokenwind, Lost, and Whiterashes.

And Yorkshire is home to its fair share too – Crackpot, Giggleswick, Wetwang and Blubberhouses can all be found in this historic county.

Down south, drivers may find themselves passing through Donkey Town, Curry Mallet, Brown Willy, and Loose Bottom.

In Wales, travellers will find Mumbles and Plwmp whilst in Ireland, residents of Stranagalwilly might have a hard time being taken seriously.

The map, compiled and designed by, will help Brits explore their own country during the Covid pandemic.

However, eager travellers should always check the restrictions of the area they are heading to before hitting the road.

A spokesperson for said: “The English language never fails to amaze us, and neither does the imagination and creativity that must have gone into naming these iconic places around Great Britain and Ireland.

“We’re not sure how residents of Nasty and Crapstone convince people they're nice places to live with names like that – Bunny in Nottinghamshire sounds much better!”

It comes after a cheeky map listing 280 of the world's rudest places was released a few years ago.

Meanwhile some of the rudest town and village names were collated on this Marvellous Map.

And Reddit users have even got in on the action - making a map of the UK using social stereotypes.
