Woman, 20, found ‘murdered’ at house in Ely as cops arrest four people
POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a woman in her 20s was found dead.
Cops arrested four people after the woman's body was found at a home in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
Emergency services were scrambled to a property at about 2.10pm yesterday to reports of concern for a woman.
Paramedics battled to save her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is being treated as murder and a police cordon remains in place.
A 38-year-old woman, a 53-year-old man, and a 29-year-old man, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Detective Inspector Dale Mepstead, who is investigating, said: “We will be conducting enquiries in and around High Barns area while our investigation into the death continues.
“There will be a large police presence while we carry out these enquiries and we would like to reassure people that we are treating this as an isolated incident.”
A postmortem is due to take place on Friday.
