Jihadis release details of 213 Brits plucked from social media and call on lone wolf fighters to murder them
Terror cyber criminals release swathe of data over the encrypted messaging service Telegram
ISIS hackers have released a 'kill list' containing the names of 4,681 people they have implored lone wolf attackers to murder.
The list was published on the encrypted messaging service Telegram and includes nationals from 18 different countries.
Everyday Brits, Americans, Canadians, Indians and Australians were among those named.
Hacker groups loyal to the organisation often release such lists in an attempt to cause panic among the general population.
The list was also released with a message - written in poor English - calling on lone wolf jihadis to attack those named, reported.
"O individual wolves out there in the world, kill the cross where ever you find it for there [sic] 'war on Islam' and 'mujahideen' kill them strongly... Kill them hardly. #very important kill list #Kill them immediately," it stated.
The message purported to come from the United Cyber Caliphate, a umbrella organisation of jihadi hacking groups.
It has previously released kill lists containing the names of New York and Texas residents, as well as a list of US State Department staff.
It also has links to an ISIS hacking group established by British jihadi Junaid Hussain, from Birmingham.
Hussain was married to Sally Jones, a former punk rocker who is believed to still be living somewhere in Iraq or Syria. He was killed in a US drone strike in August last year.
