Family’s agony as ‘perfect’ mum of five, pregnant with her sixth child, dies suddenly after complaining of feeling unwell
Mystery as docs fail to agree on 29-year-old Leigh-Anne Thompson's cause of death
A PREGNANT mum of five who died after collapsing suddenly was a "perfect" mother, her family has said.
Leigh-Anne Thompson, 29, of Hull, East Yorks, was with her partner last week when she fell to the floor after complaining she was feeling unwell.
She passed away only minutes later, with doctors still unsure what caused her death.
Her sister Gemma said Leigh-Anne's five children, the youngest of whom is just 10 months old, have been left "devastated" by the loss of their mum.
She said: "Her kids were her life. She was a fantastic mum.
"She was just a perfect mum, if anybody could ever be perfect. She was as close as you could get.
"All five of her kids meant everything to her. Everything she did was about the bairns.
"All the money she had in the world went on them.

Leigh-Anne leaves behind Connor, 13, Ellie, 11, Morgan, nine, Rihanna, eight, and ten-month-old Brooke.
She was pregnant with her sixth child, who was due at the start of next year, when she died on June 12.

"She rarely drank, and she didn't smoke or anything like that.
"She had gone to have a weekend away with her partner.

Leigh-Anne's funeral will take place in Hull on Monday
Her sister said the rest of her family were devastated by her death.
She went on: "Everyone is just heartbroken. We don't believe it still.
"Not knowing why she died is not making it any easier. It wouldn't make it any nicer, but at least there would be a reason.
"We are a very close family. We aren't just brothers and sisters, we are best friends. She was a very, very large part of our life.
"We did everything together.
"She was just the loveliest, most jolly person ever. I am just heartbroken."
Leigh-Anne also leaves behind her siblings Kelly, Vicky, Ryan, Matthew, Bradley and her mother, Carol.
Bradley, 19, said his sister's popularity meant her funeral would be "packed out".
He said: "She was always jolly, happy and loved laughing.
"She had a lot of friends, and she loved her bingo and got on with everybody.
"She could be very straight to the point and told people what she thought, but she was that popular. Everybody loved her.
"She would do anything for anyone and was just such a loving and caring person.
"We still just don't believe it. You can't picture the family or life without her in it."
