RAF Tornado jets have obliterated an ISIS truck packed with explosives in a pinpoint aerial strike in Syria.
The jets, armed with laser-guided Brimstone missiles, destroyed the truck in the ISIS-controlled city of Deir ez-Zor with a single hit on June 20.
The extremists had attempted to hide the vehicle from Western planes - it was parked between two vehicles and covered by a tarpaulin.
Footage shows the missile hitting the truck, turning it into a massive ball of flames and confirming suspicions it was packed with explosives.
ISIS regularly use such vehicles in suicide bombings, often as a means of breaching defences at the outset of an assault.
That same day, RAF Reaper drones killed militants seen on foot near Raqqa and destroyed machine gun posts in Fallujah, the Ministry of Defence said.
Coalition aircraft have been heavily involved in the current siege of Fallujah, a city which has long been one of the terror group's strongholds in Iraq.
Since the Iraqi Army offensive began last month, our aircraft have supported local troops and Shiite militias battling the extremists on the ground.
The MoD said: "Since the start of the operation to liberate Fallujah, RAF aircraft have prosecuted some 96 targets in and around the city and neighbouring areas in the Euphrates valley."
