Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe’s four surviving siblings will shun his funeral
YORKSHIRE Ripper Peter Sutcliffe’s four surviving siblings will shun his funeral, we can reveal.
Only two mourners are expected to see off the serial killer — his ex-wife Sonia and a funeral director pal.
Sutcliffe, 74, who died in hospital last week after contracting Covid, is estranged from sisters Maureen, 68, and Jane, 64, and brother Carl, 58.
They fell out when he tried to attend the funeral of his sister Anne, 56, in 2005.
They said he would turn it into a “circus”.
A source said: “They were sick of the way he made everything all about him.”
Brother Mick, 70, was in touch but is thought to be too ill to attend.
A source said: “The relatives know nothing about the arrangements.
“They fall to Sonia as next of kin. But, whatever they are, the family won’t be going.”
