Ivana Trump says ex-husband Donald is ‘not a good loser’ as she begs for election battle ‘to be over’
PRESIDENT Donald Trump’s first wife, Ivana Trump, said her ex-husband is “not a good loser” and that she wants “this whole thing to be over with” regardless of the final election results.
Ivana Trump, 71, who was married to from 1977 to 1992, told on Monday that “he doesn’t like to lose, so he’s going to fight and fight and fight.”

Donald Trump, 74, has not conceded, despite media outlets calling enough electoral votes for Democrat to win the presidency, and instead has alleged voter fraud and vowed to sue battleground states over ballot counting.
“He’s not a good loser,” said Ivana Trump.
She added that Donald Trump must accept the final election results—even if he is the confirmed loser—and move on with his life.
“He has to go and declare that he lost. But he hates to be a loser, that I’m sure of,” she said.
“But if he loses, he loses. He has plenty of money, places to go and live in and enjoy his life.”
Ivana believes that her ex-husband is done with his political career, despite his reported talk of running for president again in 2024.
“I don’t think he has a choice. He’s going to go down to Palm Beach and play golf and live the normal life, I think,” she said.
“This is the best choice for what he can do.”
Regarding Donald Trump’s failed reelection bid, Ivana said, “I really don’t care.”
“I just want this whole thing to be over with, one way or the other,” she said.
Ivana added that her three children with him—, and Eric Trump—are “fine.”
Ivanka Trump serves as a senior White House adviser, while Trump Jr and Eric Trump ran their father’s real estate business and campaigned for his reelection.
“I think they enjoyed being around Donald and running the election and seeing what will happen, but now it is—thank god—over,” Ivana Trump reiterated.
She said she is not sure what her children will do next, but wants them to enjoy life outside of politics.
“I just want them to be able to live their normal lives—normal lives. Not the Washington life and all that, just in New York or wherever they’re going to be and just live their normal lives,” the mother said.
A businesswoman and former model, Ivana Trump authored the book Raising Trump in 2017 about raising three children with Donald Trump.
She has often spoken openly about her ex-husband, who went on to marry Marla Maples and Melania Trump, the first lady.
Ivana’s comments were in line with how Donald spoke of himself in an in July with Fox News anchor Chris Wallace.
“I'm not a good loser,” the president said at the time.
"I don't like to lose.”
