Ryan Giggs’ brother Rhodri continues feud with footie star making bizarre comparison to OJ Simpson after assault arrest
RYAN Giggs' estranged brother Rhodri has continued a feud with the ex-Manchester United star by making a bizarre comparison to OJ Simpson after his assault arrest.
Giggs, 46, was arrested on Sunday night on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend Kate Greville.
Police were called to the Wales manager’s £1.7million home in Worsley just after 10pm after reports of “a disturbance”.
Giggs who is banned from contacting Kate, 36, under his bail conditions, denies the allegations.
Rhodri, 43, mocked his brother - who had an eight-year affair with his wife - with a comparison to convicted felon Simpson, joking in a tweet: "OJ is at it again..."
It came after someone asked "I wonder what is thinking hearing about his brother."
BITTER FEUD
Simpson was charged and acquitted of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman in the 1990s.
Former American football star Simpson was later found liable for their deaths in a civil court.
In 2011, Welsh wing wizard Giggs' eight-year affair with Rhodri's wife Natasha was exposed.
Last year, Rhodri revealed he hasn't spoken to the Red Devils legend for eight years.
He also revealed he hasn't spoken to his mum Lynne since the 2011 revelation.
Rhodri said he only discovered the betrayal the day it was revealed by the Sun on Sunday.
He told Almost Famous podcast host Barnaby Slater: “I found out on the day the papers put it out, her mum came to my house at six in the morning.”
Meanwhile, Kate Greville has packed up and taken her puppy with her after the former United ace's arrest.
Kate and her golden retriever Mac moved out of the ex-Man United star’s mansion and are said to be in a safe house.

But Giggs is being backed by his estranged dad over the allegations he assaulted his girlfriend.
Danny Wilson, 65, said: “I just don’t believe it - Ryan may be a womaniser but he’s not violent.”
Wilson fell out with Ryan after the soccer superstar betrayed his brother Rhodri with the secret affair with his wife.
But ex-professional rugby star Danny vowed to support the Wales soccer manager who has been relieved from duty.
Retired Cardiff nightclub doorman Danny said: “I haven’t talked to him about this but I back him all the way - it’s just not him.
“I don’t know what happened but I can tell you my son is not a violent person.”
Giggs will also step down as Wales manager for their next three games.
Giggs faced further turmoil after he was told he will not take charge of the next three Wales matches.
They play the US in a friendly in Swansea next week and two Nations League matches in Cardiff against Ireland and Finland.
A source said: “Giggs will be devastated at the decision. He’s a proud Welshman and it’ll be a huge blow. Becoming Wales manager was an absolute privilege.
“But he’s facing serious allegations and so swift action had to be taken.”
Wales were due to name their squad yesterday but it was cancelled.
Giggs has been dating Kate on and off since 2017.
He divorced his wife Stacey after cheating on her for eight years with his brother Natasha.
