Ivanka Trump targeted by huge anti-Trump billboard in Times Square – and she threatens to sue to have it pulled down

IVANKA Trump was targeted by an enormous anti-Trump billboard in Times Square – and she's threatened to sue to have it pulled down.

The Lincoln Project the ad on Thursday, which shows a beaming gesturing towards death tolls for New Yorkers and Americans.

The picture of Trump's eldest daughter appears to be  promoting a can of Goya black beans.

In another Lincoln Project billboard, Kushner is shown next to body bags.

The quote on it read: "[New Yorkers] are going to suffer and that’s their problem.”

Trump's senior advisor was quoted as saying this in a September 17 .

The full statement attributed to him said: "[ Gov Andrew] didn’t pound the phones hard enough to get PPE for his state

"His people are going to suffer and that’s their problem."

The Lincoln Project is an anti-Trump political action committee for Republicans.

On Friday, the organization a letter sent to them from the family lawyer Marc Kasowitz.

It said the group would be sued "immediately" unless the “false, malicious, and defamatory" billboards were taken down.

It read: “Of course, Mr Kushner never made any such statement, Ms Trump never made any such gesture, and the Lincoln Project’s representations that they did are an outrageous and shameful libel.

“If these billboard ads are not immediately removed, we will sue you for what will doubtless be enormous compensatory and punitive damages/"

The Lincoln Project said they would be sending their own legal response and described Jared and Ivanka's reaction as "comical."

"While we truly enjoy living rent free in their heads, their empty threats will not be taken any more seriously than we take Ivanka and Jared," the group tweeted on Friday night.

"It is fully understandable that an administration that has never had any regard for or understanding of our Constitution would try to trample on our First Amendment rights, but we fully intend on making this civics lesson as painful as possible."

The statement went on to claim that the couple were "entitled, out-of-touch bullies."

"The billboards will stay up," it concluded. "We consider it important that in Times Square, the crossroads of the world, people are continuously reminded of the cruelty, audacity, and the staggering lack of empathy the Trumps and the Kushners have displayed towards the American people. "

In the , Jared supposedly made the comments during an alleged March 21 White House meeting.

He supposedly met with an ad hoc private sector group about Trump's coronavirus response.

An anonymous attendee told the magazine that Jared said this.

But the billboard didn't provide the full context of his supposed quote, namely the dig at Cuomo.

Supporters of the Lincoln Project – a PAC working to prevent Trump's re- – include Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, business executives, and venture capitalists.

According to Vanity Fair, they have been lobbying the government to take the lead on directing PPE across the country.

The news comes after a to show the "preventable" US coronavirus deaths in real-time back in May.
