CNN’s Don Lemon shockingly says black men who back Trump are being ‘bamboozled and played’ and says they WON’T vote

CNN's Don Lemon thinks Black men who support Donald Trump are being "played" by the Trump campaign and are "in for a rude awakening."

"They’re in for a rude awakening because it doesn’t work that way. That’s not how it works," Lemon said of Black men voting for Trump in a sweeping generalization. "So, I think these men, honestly, are being bamboozled. They’re being played by the Trump folks," Lemon concluded.

Filling for time between CNN host Chris Cuomo's 'Cuomo Prime Time' and Lemon's 'CNN Tonight,' Lemon discussed what and theorized why Black men may vote for Trump over Joe Biden.

Although Lemon said Obama, who earlier that day Biden during a rally in Pennsylvania, would help Democrats in turning out more Black voters to the polls, he questioned how there were some Black men who were voting for Trump.

"Listen, we talk about the fringe black male vote, right, for Donald Trump?"
Lemon started during Cuomo's handoff to his show.

"Let’s see how many people actually show up at the polls because I don’t really know any black men who are going to vote for Donald Trump," he continued.

"Except for people who have a ton of money in the bank and maybe they think," Lemon hypothesized. "Here’s what they think: unlike Black women, who are the most educated of the voting bloc, who know what it is like to be in a board room or a business meeting and be mansplained when your idea is better, and you’re smarter than the men in the room."

"I think what these black men think is, ‘well, if I just get the money and I just get the capital — therefore I will be equal, and I will be treated equally,'" Lemon added.

"They’re in for a rude awakening because it doesn’t work that way. That’s not how it works, and women know that — especially Black women, they know that," Lemon ended. "So I think these men honestly are being bamboozled. They’re being played by the Trump folks."
