JOINING the 'mile-high club' is all about making babies during a flight -- but what about giving birth to one mid-air?
That's exactly what happened on a plane that had to perform an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday.
A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight from Jeddah to New York landed with one more passenger than it took off with -- when a woman gave birth on board.
And the healthy baby girl was even snapped with the cabin crew that helped deliver her.
The flight from Saudi Arabia to the U.S. caused panic when pilots told British air traffic controllers that they needed to land due to a "medical emergency" on Wednesday morning.
The Boeing 777 was flying over Northern Ireland when it made the emergency call.

The pilots were instructed to turn around and fly back to the west London hub instead of risking the journey across the Atlantic to New York's JFK Airport.
The flight landed safely at around 11:10am, with mother and baby said to have touched down in good health.
After landing at Heathrow, grinning cabin crew posed for pictures with the newborn.
The happy snaps, which show hostesses with beaming smiles holding the tot for the camera, have since been shared on social media.
Flight 21 from Jeddah to New York’s JFK airport operates daily and the 10,000km flight normally takes about 12 hours to complete, reports.
