"Hope is doing great. I just spoke to her a little while ago. She's doing great," Trump told Fox.

"She's young, she's strong, and she's sloughing it off pretty easily," he said of the former White House communications director.

He added that he doesn't think Hicks is on any medication, and her body is fighting the virus on its own.

Trump then spoke of his wife Melania's condition.

"Melania's doing great. She is sort of in the same category.

"It hasn't been very tough for her.

He added: "She's doing great. She's really doing well.

President Trump revealed his and wife Melania's coronavirus diagnoses on Friday.

Trump was hospitalized over the weekend – and returned to the White House on Monday.

She said "Logistically... it would be tough" – but Trump's doctor, Sean Conley, would determine if Trump could transmit the virus to others.

"I'll leave it to Dr. Conley, because he has all the granular details of the testing and as to what the medical bar needs to be met to show that you're not transmissible," McEnany said.

"There will be a test in place, and rest assured, that test will show it's not transmissible.

"He won't be out there if he can transmit the virus," she added.
