City analyst ‘shouted homophobic abuse’ at bouncer after refusing to pay £500 bar tab
Privately-educated thug punched doorman in the eye after allegedly subjecting him to verbal abuse
AN investment banker refused to pick up his £500 bar tab before subjecting a bouncer to homophobic abuse, a court heard.
Former Goldman Sachs analyst Mitchell Bayer-Goldman allegedly called Allewyn Tredoux a "gay c**t", before punching him in the eye at The Cuckoo Club in Mayfair, London.
The former public schoolboy will be sentenced after he admitted assault by beating, but he denied using threatening language.
Despite that the Crown maintains that he did use a homophobic slur and it could affect his sentence on September 8.
A judge will decide whether or not Bayer-Goldman did say "gay c**t" before he is sentenced.
Charles Shelton, prosecuting, said: "On December 12 the defendant was at the Cuckoo Club.
"His bar bill amounted to £500.
