NICK Clegg’s arch-Europhile wife has dismissed David Cameron’s EU deal as a "Mickey Mouse negotiation".
Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, whose husband is also a strong supporter of Remain, criticised the Prime Minister’s minuscule reforms.
Her comments were an attempt to try and help the campaign to stay in on June 23, but will surely seized upon by Brexiteers as yet another reason to vote out.
Speaking at Fortune's annual Most Powerful Women event in London today, she said: "The European Union is crying for reform.
"Proper reform.

Ms Gonzalez Durantez, a partner at the law firm Dechert, added that she thought the UK was “sleep walking towards disaster”.
“It will not only be a disaster in this country it will be a disaster for Europe and across the whole world,” she added.
“In my life I have never gone through another moment when I have thought we are in the history books.”
