SENIOR royal aides fear the Sussexes’ remarks on US politics could violate their Megxit terms.
The couple called the presidential election “the most important of our life” while Harry urged voters to “reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity”.
The comments were seen as an attack on Donald Trump.
The president hit back, saying he was not a Meghan fan.
Royal aides are said to have met last week over the intervention.
One told The Sunday Times: “The family are all wringing their hands, thinking, ‘Where is this going?’ The feeling is it’s a violation.”
The Sussexes pledged to “uphold the values of Her Majesty” in their Megxit deal.
