Couple feel forced to move after mean note from neighbour criticises their parenting skills

A FAMILY moved out of their home after getting a mean note from a neighbour which questioned their parenting skills.
Jessica and Karl Ronnevik, were sent the letter saying their son, Peter, one, was crying too much.
It even included ideas and techniques on how to settle him so he would not make so much noise.
The couple, from North Carolina, in the U.S told their ordeal had been “stressful” and the note the received two months ago had made matters worse.
Expecting their second child in 10 weeks, Jessica said: “Every day has been stressful trying to get out of here.”
The note told the couple, their son was crying too much and they should look at speaking to a child care expert to help.
It said: “Please consider buying a parenting book or consult with a child care expert. Your baby should not be crying that loudly and for that long!”
It went on to suggest: “Try more calmer techniques - music, turn on a vacuum, rocking chair...go for a walk.”
As well as writing to the Ronneviks, their neighbour then complained to the complex and the family ended up getting a citation for a noise violation.

He appeared to have no remorse in sending the letter, and told the news network he hoped they had “found a new home which is better suited for raising their toddler and their soon-to-be newborn baby.”
The neighbour then added: “It is my sincere and earnest wish that everyone involved is able to sleep more soundly in the future... especially whomever is lucky enough to share a bedroom wall with their nursery.”
The couple said they have found a new place to live in a child-friendly area, and thanked their church for the support they had got with their experience and decision to move.
