Double murder probe after women's body were discovered this morning
The mum and daughter who are alleged to have been murdered at a home in Liverpool have been named as Jade Hales and her mum Karen.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the women's lifeless bodies were discovered this morning.
Jade, 28, and her mum Karen, thought to be in her 60s, were found at roughly 9.30am this morning,
They reportedly died from their injuries after being assaulted, and locals have said their dog was also killed.
Neighbours claim they heard a woman shouting "get off me" at roughly 2:30am on Sunday morning.
The mum and daughter were found dead in Cathedral Road in Anfield after police received a call from someone concerned for the women's safety.
The double murder suspect will be questioned by police after he was arrested at a house in a nearby street.
Police have not yet confirmed the identity of either woman or how they died, describing the deaths as "unexplained".

A post-mortem examination is yet to take place.
Loved ones of the women arrived at the street this morning to be greeted by a heavy police presence and forensic investigators.
Several family members broke down in tears before being driven away in police cars.
Locals said the Jade was her mother's carer, and was often she walking her dog Tyson- a Staffordshire Bull terrier.
Samantha Parkin, 25, a friend of the younger woman, said she was in contact with her last night via Instagram.
Ms Parkin, who broke down in tears, said: "She stopped messaging me last night about half seven.
"She was bubbly, she was funny, she was dozy, she was kind.
"She would do anything for anyone. She loved everyone who came into contact with her.
"It's the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I'm going to miss her."
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "A 42-year-old man from the Anfield area has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody, where he will be questioned by officers.
"A Home Office post-mortem will take place to determine the causes of death for both women.
"The police investigation is in its very early stages."
