Paramilitary style Russian football hooligans are gearing up for round two
Thugs are preparing to target Lions fans in Lens on Thursday before England's second match against Wales
RUSSIA’S savage paramilitary-style Ultras are gearing up for another clash with England fans on Wednesday.
The Three Lions meet Wales in Lens on Thursday just 20 miles from the city of Lille, where Russia play Slovakia the day before.
The warning comes just hours after many England fans fled the country after violence in Marseilles.
Cops in Lille accept there is a “high risk” the Russians will target English there.
Scores of Russia’s most hardened thugs from notorious hooligan gangs have been masterminding the violence.
One gangster, Vasily the “killer” was believed to be among the neo-Nazi hooligans. He is a member of the Spartak Gladiator Firm which formed in 1996.
The 36-year-old is covered in tattoos, including one of his gang’s emblem across his chest.
He also wears a mouthguard emblazoned with his nickname “killer”.
Another thug, who would only give his first name, Dimo, 26, said: “This has been big for Russian hooliganism. We are proud.”
Gangs post pics of their match tickets and “zombie” knives, long serrated blades inspired by horror films.
Video footage earlier this year showed the Russian brutes training for battles against England fans by hitting the gym and doing military-style press-ups.
