Wrote another Twitter user: "The people are fuming about #AllBuildingsMatter 19 years after 9/11?..... Now imagine how we feel with our brothers and sisters blood fresh and bodies cold on the streets and yall screaming ???? So, yeah."
However, there was much outrage on social media.
"Y’all: 'This #AllBuildingsMatter tag is so insensitive and disrespectful. People have died and families are grieving...'" wrote one user.
