Vladimir Putin reveals BEDROOM secrets in private conversation…after not realising microphone is switched on
Rare glimpse into Russian president's private life came in an overheard exchange with Belarus dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko as he opens up about not getting enough sleep
Vladimir Putin has revealed he isn’t “getting enough sleep” in an overheard conversation with Belarus dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The Kremlin strongman opens up about his bedroom secrets, revealing how he’s getting by on just four or five hours a night.
The rare glimpse into the Russian president’s private life happened as Putin admitted to Lukashenko he hadn’t gone to bed until 3am – apparently unaware that his microphone was switched on before a press conference in Minsk.
Lukashenko asked: “Is all ok?”
Putin replied: “It’s ok. But I sleep very little. The day before yesterday I slept for four hours. And last night I slept for five hours…really little.”
He used his fingers to emphasise how many hours sleep he got.
Lukashenko responded with: “Literally? That’s very little of course.”
Putin – who prides himself on his image – continued: “I went to bed at 3am and I had to wake up at 8am.”
