Pastor demands reparations including 200 years of free college for black students and therapy

A PHILADELPHIA pastor has demanded vast reparations be made to African Americans - including 200 years of free college tuition for black students and therapy to be made available to any who need it.

Dr. Eric Mason, pastor of Epiphany Fellowship Church, preached a sermon called A Biblical Case for Reparations, in which he argued that black Americans deserve compensation on a massive scale for slavery and racial injustice.

“Reparations has to be comprehensive because the offenses were everything from emotional to economic,” Dr .

According to Dr Mason, social security was “created for white people,” and adequate reparations must include far more extensive measures - including covering tuition for descendants of slaves, and funding historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

“HBCUs funded for the next 200 years. Next 200 years. And right after that? You ain’t get this, did you? Descendants of slaves not paying for college for 200 years,” Mason said.

“Nobody. And canceling every black person’s student loan debt. And repaying blacks who paid for student loans.”

The pastor also called for "public repentance," and "admitting slavery still affects us."

Dr Mason also called for counseling to be provided as well.

"Psychological reparations. You need to pay for counseling for us. We need help," Mason said

Dr Mason concluded by explaining that while reparations are not the solution to all problems, they would be useful in addressing issues.

He cautioned that failing to administer them could lead to divine consequences.

“Now, I’m not saying that reparations is gonna bring peace on earth. Jesus will bring peace on earth,” Mason said.

“However, while we’re on earth, we gotta make the most of our time, make the most of our minas, so that when the master returns, he said what did you do with the minas I gave you. And you don’t want him to say ‘depart from me.’”

“‘To whom was given more, more will be given to him.'”
