Married prison officer seduced by convicted killers performed daily sex acts and helped with jailbreak
Joyce Mitchell was manipulated into assisting David Sweat and Richard Matt with their escape from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, U.S, smuggling in power tools
TWO convicted killers manipulated a prison officer into performing sex acts on them every day and convinced her into assisting their escape, according to a damning report.
David Sweat and Richard Matt seduced Joyce Mitchell who was working at the Clinton Correctional Facility, Dannemora, in the U.S and even said they loved her.
They told the married prison officer they would settle together on a beach in Mexico once they broke out of jail, which was branded the "Shawshank escape."
Mitchell, a mother-of-one, was so enamoured she smuggled in power tools so they could use them to cut through pipes underneath the building.
Matt said he loved her, and they got other inmates to keep watch so they could enjoy secret romps.
However, according to the report, Mitchell was also flirtatious with other inmates in the prison tailor shop.
She would be “bent over” their machines and would let prisoners get away without doing any work.
Mitchell gave Sweat and Matt cookies and cakes and on one occasion brought Sweat a Big Mac.
When Matt told her he had feelings for her, and claimed he was in love, their relationship turned sexual.
Mitchell, is now serving time in state prison for giving the men power tools.

She said she was “scared s***less” when Matt grabbed her and kissed her in the tailor shop.
The State Police investigator asked: “scared but excited?” and Mitchell said: “Yeah.”
She claimed the incident meant nothing but Matt might have had a different idea.
Mitchell also admitted she performed oral sex on Matt when they were grabbing tools for the break out.
The two men escaped on June 6 2015. The investigation into the jailbreak stated the men should have been caught 400 times before they made their escape.
A report from State Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott said a failure of basic security procedures, employees assisting with the prisoners and a chronic staff complacency were all to blame for why the two men got out.
