A RUSSIAN teen almost died after taking a 30 foot tumble onto a railway line to get the perfect selfie.
The reckless boy attempted to mount a treacherous railing on a track in Kaliningrad, in Russia’s north-western Kaliningrad Oblast region.

Encouraging friends stood and watched as the boy started to climb the high railing.
They videoed the young man dangling on the tubes high above the train tracks.
Unhooking his feet from the railing, the teenager hangs from the structure with just his hands.

In terrifying scenes, he lets one hand go to reach into his pocket and take out his phone.
The young man had hoped to snap an extreme selfie as he hang from the bars.
After holding his phone up for a few seconds, he goes to pocket the device.
But in a shocking turn of events, the teen’s grip on the bars loosens and he tumbles onto the ground.

The young man quickly grabs at a length of electricity cables but burns his hands.
He thumps onto the ground as his friends playfully mock him.
The extreme selfie taker gets up after a while and groans loudly.
He shows off his burned hands to his laughing friends.

It is reported that the incident took place on the part of the railroad between the cities of Kaliningrad and Baltiysk in western Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast region.
The shocking clip has gone viral on social media, where online audiences have criticised the reckless boy.
One user wrote: "Imbecile, think about your parents first."
Whilst another commented: "He did it all to get the likes.

"The world is so full of idiots."
