BLASTER LA VISTA

Amir Khan sparks fury on Instagram as he poses with sub-machine gun saying ‘Get ready for the new Terminator’

Ex-boxing champ slammed for glamourising guns — again

BOXER Amir Khan has been blasted for glamourising guns during a Pakistan trip.

The fighter and role model posted photos and videos of himself with an MP5 sub-machine gun and shooting a pistol during target practice with local cops.

He posted a gun-toting picture saying: “Get ready for the new Terminator.

“Me carrying the MP5.”

Then a video with the caption: “Pakistan Police special unit teaching me how to pull the trigger.”

The video was viewed thousands of times and scores of the fighter’s Instagram followers were not impressed.

He’s also faced criticism recently after saying he wanted to fight for Pakistan in the Rio Olympics

And jonboyrussell added: “Not a good role model for kids who follow you.”

In the video Khan, wearing ear protectors and glasses, is seen holding a handgun with his back to a target.

He then spins around and fires off five shots.

Smiling Amir then gets a round of applause and a few more pointers from his instructor.

It is not the first time the boxer has caused gun controversy.

In 2014 The Sun revealed how he had caused outrage by posting a photo of himself online posing with a shisha pipe shaped like an AK47 assault rifle.

Ex-world champion Khan, 29, added with the snap: “AK with an AK Shisha.

“I don’t smoke it.

“But I saw it and decided to take u all a pic.”

Khan, of Bolton, also faced a barrage of criticism when he tweeted a picture of himself with a knife.

Earlier this week he was slammed by Frank Warren after he said he wanted to fight for Pakistan at the Rio Olympics and was labelled a “traitor” on social media.
