Terror scare on British Airways flight from London to US after ‘bomb threat’ was made against the plane…as Greenwich uni student reveals her fear
Annie Fielding has told of her terror as the pilot announced bomb threat on board
A PILOT flying out of London was forced to make an emergency landing when a terror threat was made against the plane, terrifying a British family on board.
Annie Fielding, 21, was travelling to the United States with her brother Jacob, 20, and parents Frank and Karen, when they were told to leave the British Airways flight immediately after it landed because of a "bomb threat".
“I was scared," said Annie from Greenwich.
"One older woman looked terrified but when I looked outside before I got off the plane, there was a young girl and her mum crying.
“Everyone seemed really nervous and on edge.”
The Boeing 777-200, which was carrying 206 passengers and 13 crew members on its way to New Jersey, landed at Newark Liberty International Airport at around 13:00 local time (17:00 GMT).

But anti-terror police officers later confirmed nothing harmful was found on board.
Annie told the Standard: “When we landed, the captain said there was a threat made against the aircraft but he thought it was a hoax.
“But you can never be so sure with things that are happening recently.
“My dad said to me ‘don’t worry, I’m sure it will be fine’."
A spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the airport's operator, said they had released the plane to British Airways.
At the time of the evacuation, Annie tweeted to her 1,020 followers: "So f*****g scary when you land in Newark to find out your flight has been threatened to be bombed #britishairways."
She added: "Course it would be the flight I was on."

A British Airways spokesman said: "The aircraft has landed normally.
"Security checks will carried out as a precaution.

They added: "The safety and security of our customers and crew is our number one priority."
No arrests are reported to have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
