Cops launch investigation after bodies of six-year-old girl, man, and two dogs found at Isle of Wight home
Neighbours in shock over sudden deaths of man and little girl at Newport home
A SIX-year-old girl and a man died today in a suspected murder suicide in which two dogs were also killed.
The little infant was found unconscious at the family home.
Cops also found the 44-year-old – believed to be known to her – dead inside.
Paramedics took the girl to hospital but doctors were unable to save her.
The bodies of the two dogs were also found inside the house in East Cowes, Isle of Wight on Wednesday morning.
Neighbours said they saw the girl being carried into an ambulance and taken to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.
One resident said: "The family that live there are really nice people.

"It is such a shock and terrible news about the little girl."
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “At this stage police are treating this as an isolated incident and we would like to reassure the community that there is no wider risk.
“We will have a police presence at the address overnight.
“We would like to thank residents for their patience as we deal with this incident."
He added: “Formal identification procedures are ongoing and we will not be in a position to confirm the names of the deceased until these are complete.
“Specialist officers are supporting the family.”
Cops confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
