TED Cruz has warned that Donald Trump's reelection bid would be "all over" if he loses Texas as polls show him holding a slim lead over Joe Biden.

"If the win it's all over," he said.

"Texas is the single biggest target for the left in 2020, politically speaking. There are 38 electoral votes at stake. There's a .

"Senate seat at stake. And Texas is the key to national domination for years to come."

According to a polling average, is beating hopeful to the post by just one-fifth of a point.

Trump recently bashed polls, dubbing them as "fake" and questioning why they are low.
