School girl heard camera click and saw man peering over cubicle wall in Reading branch
POLICE are hunting a man who allegedly took a picture of a teenage girl in a McDonald’s toilet cubicle.
Detectives have released CCTV images after the school girl saw a man peering over the cubicle wall.
The 13-year-old then heard the click of a phone camera.
She then looked up to see someone's head poking over the wall before running off.
Police said the girl was left "very upset" by the incident, at a McDonald's in Oxford Road, Reading, at about 9.05pm on Friday.
Detective Constable Alastair Bagshaw said the girl and her family were concerned about where the image may end up.
The threat of it appearing on the internet has prompted a quick reaction from police.
Mr Bagshaw, of Thames Valley Police, said: "I am keen to identify the person responsible as quickly as possible and would ask anyone that recognises him to contact me immediately."
The man wears a black hoodie, green shorts, black Adidas trainers and was carrying a dark coloured back pack.
