Despite gagging The Sun and all other UK newspapers, the married dad was named outside in the US, Scotland and online.

Five Supreme Court judges will today reveal their decision on whether or not his identity can be revealed.

Earlier this year The Sun on Sunday wanted to run a story about the married dad's alleged extra-marital affairs.

He argued he had a right to privacy and took legal action.

After a hearing next month the judges reserved their decision and kept the injunction in place until they give their ruling today.

The man, referred to as PJS, has challenged a Court of Appeal decision allowing The Sun on Sunday to name him.

Publishers News Group Newspapers (NGN) won the first round of the privacy feud in January when a High Court judge refused to impose an injunction.

Two Court of Appeal judges ruled in his favour after appeal - but NGN's lawyers then successfully won another appeal at a later hearing to name the star.

They argued the ban should be lifted as the man had been named outside England and Wales and was widely named online.

During April's hearing, PJS's counsel, Desmond Browne QC, said the discharge of the injunction would have "devastating consequences" for him and his children and lead to a "storm of

harassment".

He said there was a need to protect the children and that was an issue, not just now but for the future when they grew up.

Judges have said the man is in the entertainment business and his spouse YMA is also well-known in the industry.

The couple are said to have "young children".
