Now ISIS savages are targeting DATING APPS in desperate bid to recruit woman as sex slave supply runs low
Girls are being lured to Iraq and Syria by Jihadi fighters on singles sites for devout Muslims, officials say
ISIS thugs have started to turn to dating sites to try and convince girls to join them in Syria and Iraq, according to intelligence officials.
As the extremists’ pool of sex slaves dry up, jihadis are turning to different sites and apps to lure girls to be their brides.
A Jordanian intelligence official told that ISIS are targeting vulnerable youngsters on all platforms.
He said: “At the end of last year, we were approached by a family living near Zarqa who believed their daughter was speaking to dangerous people online.
“I told them, ‘Close her Twitter and Telegram,’ but they said, ‘No, it’s the dating site she is on.’”
The man who contacted the young girl claimed to be living in ISIS’s self-proclaimed capital of Raqqa.
But Jihadis aren’t targeting mainstream dating sites like Tinder or Match.com.
The girl in question was groomed over a website specifically for devout Muslims.
The official said: “He told her about the big house she would have and the servants. Her husband would be a handsome fighter … he even sent her photos of the beautiful jewellery he would buy her for her wedding night.”
Luckily, the girl did not leave home to join ISIS.
He said: “Her case just shows you that even on dating sites ISIS is recruiting.”
In the past, the extremist thugs have even managed to recruit British girls through dating sites.
It is thought that Yusra Hussien ran away to Syria after being targeted on a site for singles.
She disappeared in June 2014 and has since told friends that she has become a Jihadi bride.
The Manchester twins Salma and Zahra Halane are also thought to be trying to groom other girls to join ISIS.
The pair disappeared from their homes in 2014 and became jihadi brides.
In 2015, the two were reported to be using social media to encourage girls to travel to Syria and Iraq to marry ISIS fighters.
They promise girls a “brave and strong husband” in the Islamic state.
Recently, ISIS fighters have been struggling to collect sex slaves.
In April, they were reported to have executed 250 women in Mosul, Iraq, because they refused to take part in the group’s ‘sexual jihad’.
As a result, the terror group have had to turn to social media and dating sites to try and entice future brides.
