‘Couldn’t give a f**k’: Bragging paedo’s sick Snapchat boast minutes after admitting sex crimes against school girl

But leering pervert could be punished when he returns for sentencing as judge reviews idiotic selfie

A TWISTED paedophile poured more misery on his schoolgirl victim after posing for a vile selfie minutes after admitting his sick sex crimes in court.

Leering perv Wayne Mavin took the snap moments after pleading guilty to a raft of depraved acts against a 13-year-old girl.

His sick Snapchat selfie included the bragging caption: “Does this face look bothered? no couldn’t give a f**k”.

Gloating Mavin is facing a long jail sentence when he returns to Newcastle Crown Court on 14 May to be sentenced.

Any kind of remorse seemed a long way from his mind when he posted the disgusting message and photo.
But the idiotic criminal may have done a number on himself.

The heartless photo could backfire as it will be shown to the sentencing judge when the shaven-haired paedo returns to court.

Mavin, 24, from Blyth, pleaded guilty to grooming causing or inciting a child under 14 to engage in sexual activity, engaging in sexual activity with a child aged under 14 and inciting a child aged under 14 to send indecent images.

Pervert Mavin groomed the schoolgirl using social media last year, the court was told.

He was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and is banned from unsupervised access to any female under the age of 18-years-old.

Last night a source said: “This picture is going to be brought to the attention of the judge when sentencing occurs.

“It shows he has no remorse for his victim and no respect for the criminal justice system.

“The judge should take this into consideration and give him a longer sentence than might have otherwise been appropriate. That might wipe the smirk off his face.”
