What is Finding Freedom about?
Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have had access to more than 100 people for the book and sources say it portrays the Sussexes in a positive light.
Finding Freedom is a tell-all about the Sussexes experience when they snubbed the royals during Megxit.
The extensively researched book aims to tell their side of the story and how they just wanted a bit of privacy and independence.
It was revealed the book will shatter the notion the American actress is the driving force behind the pair - and instead that it was Prince Harry who wanted to make the change.
Scobie and Durand said in a press release they wanted "to tell an accurate version of their journey and finally present the truth of misreported stories that have become gospel simply because of the amount of times they have been repeated".
They added: "It is thanks to our sources that we have been able to share the definitive story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex."
A source told The Sun Online: "The book will explore the journey that Meghan and Harry went through in coming to the conclusion that they did.
"It will make clear that far from it being a snap decision that they took a long time to make it.
"The seeds of Megxit were sown before they even got married. The truth is that Harry had been deeply unhappy for a long time.
"And he and Meghan openly discussed going in a different direction well before they got married.”
What has been said about the book?
The Sussexes have insisted they had nothing to do with the book, while the authors have said they did not speak to them directly.
Royal aides are worried that the book will blame Prince William for the Megxit fiasco in January.
Aides are privately braced for Wills to be “painted as the bad guy”.
An insider described how they fear that the future king, 38, could be portrayed as “unsympathetic, unfeeling and unsupportive” towards the Sussexes when they decided to split from the Royal Family.
