Vodafone worker jumped to his death from seventh floor Coq d’Argent restaurant in the City after typing ‘I have cracked’ into his phone
He is the SIXTH person to take death plunge from rooftop terrace but restaurant insists it is safe
A VODAFONE employee typed “I have cracked” on his mobile phone before leaping to his death at one of London's most notorious suicide spots.
Michael Halligan, 29, became the SIXTH person to die at the Coq d'Argent restaurant after hurling himself from the seventh floor, a court heard.
Tourist Fabian Graimann saw the Dubliner jump from the rooftop brasserie near Bank tube station 'without hesitation' as he passed below on a walking tour.
Ironically, the tourists had been discussing notorious suicide spots in the area when Mr Halligan plunged to his death.
Mr Graimann said: “I could see him fall towards the ground.
“As he hit the ground my view was obstructed by a bus in traffic.”
