A MASS brawl which erupted outside a shopping mall in London after it was live streamed on Periscope.
Shocking footage shows youths outside Centrale shopping centre in Croydon beating each other up as a baying crowd gathers around the fight.
The eight minute video was broadcast live on the Twitter-owned app and appeared to show a pre-arranged altercation which escalated into a huge bust up.
As the pair square up to each other bystanders can be heard saying “Don’t worry, the fight’s starting, the fight’s starting” before another says: “Some dude is trying to fight some girl”.
A man loudly asks "who's calling the feds" before young man can be seen screaming into a girls face: "You told me to keep it in Croydon."
The man appears to be holding a belt which he used to whack the girl across the face with.
The pre-arranged fight seemed to have started out between a man and woman
At one point there was even a suggestion someone in the crowd had a knife, with a voice warning: "He's got a shank fam."
As the brawl unfolds one person can be heard yelling "he spat in her face" before the fight escalates with the growing group beginning to move down the street as a huge crowd gathers.
Two of the brawlers are pulled up from the ground and pushed to go in separate directions while the crowd remains outside the shopping centre.
The broadcast ended shortly after 5:30pm with a second video by a different user under the name "Aftermath" was posted by another user apparently showing people discussing the fight in the shopping centre.
A Metropolitan Police Service spokesman said: “Police were called to North End Road, Croydon, at 5:25pm on Tuesday, 19 April, to reports of a fight involving a large group of people.
“Officers were called to the scene and dispersed the fight.
“There has been one arrest.”
