BRITS are waking up exhausted after a sleepless night in scorching 31C weather.

And another, tweeting a picture of Mr Burns from The Simpsons, said: "I've never related to Mr Burns blocking out the sun than now".
One user also shared a hilarious picture of a man sleeping next to a fridge, writing: "Night folks!!!"
But not all Brits were left amused, with one pining for colder temperatures, writing: "I ended up getting up at like 6am because it was too hot and too noisy outside the open the windows.
