SHOCKING footage shows a machete-wielding woman in a knife brawl at a lockdown rave where three people were stabbed.

Violence erupted at an illegal rave in Carrington, Manchester which attracted 2,000 people on Saturday night.

An 18-year-old woman was raped while a 20-year-old man died of a suspected drug overdose at another rave in Oldham.

Horrifying footage captured the moment thugs traded daylight blows as at least four men fought with machetes in Carrington.

A young woman armed with a huge knife charges towards them waving the weapon in the air in front of horrified witnesses.

One lad appeared to have his machete knocked out his hand by another armed thug just before she joined while others were taunting each other to strike.

The mayhem drew a crowd of onlookers shouting to those fighting while drinking from cans and reusable coffee cups.

There were three reported stabbings at the rave in Carrington, including one where an 18-year-old man was left with life threatening injuries.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and police are hunting suspects involved in the stabbings.

Greater Manchester Police Assistant Chief Constable Chris Sykes, said: “These raves were illegal and I condemn them taking place - they were clearly a breach of coronavirus legislation and guidelines, and have had tragic consequences."
