Boy, 10, has camped in his back garden for more than 60 days to raise money for local hospice
A BOY has spent more than 60 days camping in his back garden to raise money for a local hospice.
Ten-year-old Max Woosey is collecting the cash in memory of a neighbour who gave him the tent.

He has raised more than £2,000 so far for the North Devon Hospice.
Max started his charity feat within days of movement restrictions being brought in on March 23rd and it was originally only scheduled to last three weeks.
All he has for company is his teddy bears, copies of the Beano and a torch in case he needs to hunt for his back door key.
'KINDNESS OF STRANGERS'
But he has not once cracked and gone into the house in Brauton, Devon, at night despite being “a little scared” several times.
Mum Rachael makes him go in during the day for schooling and to wash.
She said: “He has been really touched by the kindness of strangers.
“He cannot believe people had followed his progress, sent messages of support and donated so much.

“I’ve been very impressed by his determination.
“The latest hurdle he had to overcome was very heavy rain, flashes of lightning and crashes of thunder in the early hours.
“He clearly has no intention of giving up and while the money keeps rolling absolutely nothing is going to persuade him to give up – expect perhaps going back to school in a few weeks."
