Armed cops train rifles on house after gang of men with machetes spotted on street in Kidderminster
ARMED cops swarmed round a house in Kidderminster after a gang brandishing machetes were spotted on the street.
Officers were alerted to the incident after reports the men were seen with the weapons on Monday afternoon.
Four men were arrested at the scene and West Mercia Police said they were still in custody this morning.
One man was taken to hospital in connection with the incident although his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, according to the .
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called by West Mercia Police at 2.46pm on Monday to reports of an assault on Harold Evers Way in Kidderminster.
“We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and BASICS doctor to the scene.
“On arrival, crews found one patient, a man, with injuries not believed to be serious.”
