Mother and son accused of Tamara Ecclestone burglary charged with raid on Frank Lampard’s home
A MOTHER and son accused of Tamara Ecclestone’s £50million burglary have now been charged with raids on the homes of Frank Lampard and Leicester City’s late owner.
The three burglaries took place over 13 days last December in exclusive West London areas.
Formula 1 heiress Tamara, 35, husband Jay Rutland, 39, were away on a trip to Lapland with daughter Sophia, five, when thieves broke into their 55-room home on December 13 last year.
Engagement rings belonging to Tamara and Jay were stolen along with an £80,000 diamond-studded Cartier bangle he gave to her as a wedding gift.
It was the highest value burglary in English criminal history.
The raids on Chelsea manager Lampard and late Leicester City boss Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s home were not made public at the time.
They were revealed by The Sun yesterday.
