BRITAIN’s four million NHS staff are on the frontline in the battle against coronavirus.
But while they are helping save lives, who is there to help them?
The Sun has launched an appeal to raise £1MILLION for NHS workers.
The Who Cares Wins Appeal aims to get vital support to staff in their hour of need.
We have teamed up with NHS Charities Together in their urgent Covid-19 Appeal to ensure the money gets to exactly who needs it.
The Sun is donating £50,000 and we would like YOU to help us raise a million pounds, to help THEM.

Her mum, Anne, was a hospital radiographer for 40 years, and Steph is the latest celebrity to back The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Appeal.
She said: “What is clear is how much our NHS staff put others first. They genuinely care, and for that we should be celebrating every single one of them."
“Mum kept me level-headed. If I was moaning about some telly thing, she’d be like, ‘I’ve been dealing with cancer patients’. She’s always made me put life in perspective, and she loved her job.”
The 37-year-old former BBC Breakfast presenter is keeping the name of her daughter under wraps.
Describing mother-hood, she told the Sun on Sunday: “It is that cliche of being the hardest job I’ve ever done."
"And you don’t know if you’re doing a good job unless, say, she cries. I have become one of those parents who googles poo colours 30 times a day."
"Chats with my partner are very much, ‘What was her poo like today?’, and our daughter choosing what we watch on telly — Iggle Piggle from In The Night Garden. She has become the dictator of our household.”
Join our George Cross campaign for NHS staff
SUN readers are today urged to sign a petition calling for our NHS staff to be awarded the George Cross.
Yesterday, we backed a proposal by Lord Ashcroft to honour our health heroes with the gallantry gong given for acts of bravery that did not take place in battle.
A No10 spokesman said: “The NHS is doing a fantastic job and the nation will want to find a way to say thank you when we have defeated this virus.”
SAS hero Andy McNab added: “The award of a George Cross would show an emotional appreciation.”
We are asking readers to sign the petition online at .
