Coronavirus infection toll reaches 2MILLION worldwide with more than 120,000 dead

CORONAVIRUS cases topped 2 million worldwide Monday as the deadly bug killed over 120,000 people.

The pandemic has caused global devastation since it first emerged in and the US has rapidly become the in the world.

The US now has over 581,000 of the total cases and over 21,600 Americans have died from the deadly virus of April 13.

It has overtaken (170,000-plus cases); (159,000-plus cases); (137,000-plus cases); (130,000-plus cases), and the (89,000-plus cases) months after the killer bug was reported in Wuhan.

China now ranks seventh with some 83,000 cases versus the , which tops the list.

Disturbingly, scientists have confirmed the .

A medical examiner in Thailand picked up the deadly virus from an infected body in March, according the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine Study.
