MILLIONS of Brits tonight took part in the third nationwide clap to applaud heroic NHS staff who are on the frontline fighting coronavirus.
The Clap for Our Carers salute to doctors and nurses as well other key workers doing their bit to keep the country running was another huge success.
The huge clap swept the country at 8pm with people applauding from their doorsteps and flat balconies.
It was organised by the The organisers of The Clap For Carers campaign.
Earlier today a host of big stars paid tribute to the NHS with a video of gratitude.
Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth and Tom Hiddleston were joined by celebs including Billie Eilish, Danny Dyer, Dame Julie Walters, Simon Pegg, David Walliams and Gary Barlow, who sings at the piano, in a clip in which they all say "thank you" to those working on the frontline in the fight against coronavirus.
The short film was introduced by Claire Murdoch, national clinical director for mental health in England, who says: "We have been blown away by the many thanks, celebrations and videos recognising the dedication of our NHS staff.
"This week we are delighted to show you more."

A total of 7,978 people have now died in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, up by 881 on Wednesday - as the lockdown looks set to continue until May.
But experts said new infection rates have fallen by more than a quarter in the past week, offering "much-needed light at the end of the tunnel".
The nation's spirits were lifted further by news that bug-hit Boris Johnson's health continues to improve in hospital - as he was moved out of intensive care tonight.
A Downing Street spokesman said: "The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.
"He is in extremely good spirits."
Mr Johnson's pregnant fiancee Carrie Symonds tweeted a string of clapping emojis along with a child's rainbow painting - a symbol of support for the NHS.

As the nation continues to follow strict lockdown measures, the weekly clap is a way to say thanks to all key workers whose work is essential in helping to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
A message on the campaign's website said: "Healthcare workers, emergency services, armed services, delivery drivers, shop workers, teachers, waste collectors, manufacturers, postal workers, cleaners, vets, engineers and all those who are out there making an unbelievable difference to our lives in these challenging times...bravo, you are amazing!"
It followed similar moves in Italy and Spain — which have the world's highest death tolls — where there were heartwarming scenes last month as people applauded from terraces in the countries' cities.
The UK event will now take place every Thursday at 8pm until the crisis ends.
