Medical fetish site donates entire stock of scrubs to NHS hospital to help fight coronavirus

A MEDICAL fetish company has donated its entire stock of disposable scrubs to the NHS after medics raised concerns they'll run out of personal protective equipment (PPE) during the coronavirus pandemic.

MedFet UK decided to hand over the scrubs after officials responsible for sourcing kit for doctors and nurses reached out to ask for help.

The kinky company took to social media to tell of the donation.

In a post, bosses said: "Today, we donated our entire stock of disposable scrubs to an NHS hospital.

"It was just a few sets, because we don't carry large stocks, but they were desperate, so we sent them free of charge.

"We have been contacted this week by representatives of NHS procurement all over the country, trying to source basic protective equipment and clothing.

"When we, a tiny company set up to serve a small section of the kink community, find ourselves being sought out as a last-resort supplier to our National Health Service in a time of crisis, something is seriously wrong.

"In fact, it's scandalous."

The company previously said it had sold out of hand sanitiser and was running low on face masks.

In a post, bosses said: "Whether getting ready for some kinky fun or guarding against a virus outbreak, the single most effective method of infection control is scrupulous hand hygiene."
