PRINCE Charles has tested positive for coronavirus, Clarence House has confirmed.

When did Prince Charles meet Prince Albert of Monaco?

The royals met at a WaterAid dinner, where they sat opposite each other on March 10.

Since then both Prince Charles and Prince Albert have tested positive for coronavirus.

The spokesperson for Clarence House said: "In accordance with government and medical advice, Prince Charles and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland.

"The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing."

They added: "It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks."

When was Prince Albert diagnosed with coronavirus?

The 62-year-old royal tested positive just nine days after the WaterAid event in London.

Albert told his tiny nation he could have contracted the virus "at any point in the last ten days or so."

Just two days before testing positive Prince Albert addressed the people of the principality on the French Riviera to speak about the killer virus sweeping through Europe.

How is Prince Albert doing now?

Over the weekend, Prince Albert confirmed that he is improving steadily during his time in self-isolation.

He is respecting the doctor's orders and is working from home at the palace on his environmental projects.

The royal, who falls into the high-risk category, is having regular temperature checks and his blood oxygen levels measured.

The son of Grace Kelly said: "A little news. Condition unchanged. Little fever, little cough.

"Vital signs all good. The doctors are satisfied for now."
